are a very pretty mid blue and scented. Mr. Ozawa bred Asao and Pink
Champagne (amongst others) and gave this plant to Malcolm Oviatt-Ham,

Sinij Dozhdj (Blue Rain): New Oh dear.
Latin and Japanese are bad enough - but Russian! I can't even begin
to pronounce it correctly, so it will be known as 'Blue Rain' here!
It makes a sub-shrub, to about 4ft high with hanging bells of violet-blue
flowers, paler blue on the inside. Flowers profusely and continuously
all summer. The flowers are beautifully fragrant. It is, of course,
totally hardy! (Zones 4 - 9)
